printpack alger 2018 - powered by drupa – closes on an extremely positive note
Number of visitors up 15% to 5,003
Rising export rates for printing, paper and packaging technologies to Algeria and the Maghreb
printpack alger 2018 closed on 13 March, and this on an extremely positive note.
Exhibitors were all smiles as 5,003 visitors (up 15% compared to the previous event) discussed their business and concluded hundreds of contracts.
The 6th International Trade Show clearly proved that the Algerian and Maghreb markets for paper processing, printing technologies, finishing, packaging printing and packaging are on the upswing.
And this is what they said …
The Algerian and Maghreb markets on the upswing
The Algerian and Maghreb markets for paper processing, printing technologies, finishing and packaging printing are on the upswing. According to the VDMA, the three countries Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia have already imported print and paper technology worth 131 million euros in 2016. In packaging technology, the amount even amounted to 340 million euros.
Since Algeria is Africa's third-largest importer of printing and paper technology and the largest importer of packaging technology, it is not surprising that printpack alger 2018 has also shown positive growth. Organised by fairtrade and Messe Düsseldorf the 6th International Trade Fair for Print Technologies and Packaging for Algeria and the Maghreb took place from 11 to 13 March 2018 at the state-of-the-art Centre International de Conférences Abdelatif Rahal CIC in Algiers.
