Excellent news on printpack & plast alger 2018: The event grows by 60% in net exhibition space compared to the previous event.
This results in an ever more diverse range of technologies and solutions on offer for trade visitors which makes plast & printpack alger a highly attractive destination for professionals with the intention to invest.
Over the next weeks, the organisers fairtrade and Messe Düsseldorf will therefore conduct a large-scale promotion campaign to specifically invite trade visitors from Algeria, Maghreb and West Africa.
The exhibitors come from 21 countries, namely from Algeria, Austria, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Jordan, Korea, Lebanon, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

With more than 30 exhibitors and 700+ sqm of net exhibition space Algeria is the largest exhibitor country. Followed by China, France, Turkey, Italy, Qatar, Austria, India, Taiwan, Spain and others, in this order.

For the first time co-organised by fairtrade and Messe Düsseldorf, the event is scheduled to take place on 11-13 March 2018 at the brand new Algiers International Conference Center CIC.
Massive investments in the Algerian plastics, printing and packaging industry
Figures from the VDMA German Engineering Federation confirm: In 2016, Algeria increased its plastics technology imports by a remarkable 40%. While they amounted to EUR 96 million in 2015, they already recorded EUR 135 million for 2016. Imports of packaging technology rose by 9% to EUR 228 million in the same period. This makes Algeria the largest importer of packaging technology and the second largest importer of plastics technology on the African continent."
